Intercutting Treatment- 1st Draft

For this project on intercuttting, this will be about a person walking down the stairs and his keys fall down to the bottom of the stairwell. There's a person at the bottom, and he doesnt realize that someone has dropped it; he takes it and begins to walk away. He then tries to try the keys on the classroom doors. The person then walks down the stairs and doesnt see the man, but in the english building, he gets into a classroom and begins to steal the teachers stuff. Then the person who lost the keys goes and looks for the person who took they keys. And then finally he finds him in one of the english classrooms and fights for his key. The film ends with him with his key in his hand smiling.

  1. I think this treatment needs some development because I was left confused after reading it. The inter-cutting may be to complicated and unrelated to one another. For example, how does the man who lost his keys know that the the man he finds in the hall stole his keys?

  3. I was unable to understand the beginning with key in the stairwell. Maybe you could the man steal the keys and have the other man notice a little later they have been stolen from him.
